Ms. Sirjani is a patent prosecutor with substantial experience in preparing patent applications and prosecuting the applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  She has had a near perfect success rate in obtaining speedy allowance for applications that had remained pending for several years before reaching her desk.  Her areas of expertise include, software for performing business methods, encryption, verification, statistical methods and image identification and recognition algorithms, software implementations of inventions utilizing prosody, software aspects of e-books, utilization of e-paper, GPS devices, and auto-focus cameras, hardware aspects of signal processing and communication systems, and analog circuits.

Ms. Sirjani was formerly an associate at the law firms of Squires, Sanders and Dempsey, in Palo Alto, California, Christie, Parker and Hale, in Pasadena, California, and Sughrue Mion, in Mountain View, California where she prosecuted patent applications for a wide range of clients in electrical engineering and computer software areas.  A partial list of the clients include Fuji-Xerox (a wide variety of cutting edge inventions in software), Hitachi America, Ltd.
